Overview
Welcome to Fore & After.
Fore & After is a trading name used by a UK sole trader. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Fore & After and the individual sole trader operating the business.
We operate this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, products and services offered through it (collectively, the “Services”).
Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer our products and Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and any other policies referenced on our website, govern your use of our Services and purchases from Fore & After.
By accessing our website, using our Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Eligibility and use of our website
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to purchase products from us.
You agree that any information you provide, including your name, email address, delivery address and payment information, is accurate and complete.
You must not use our website or Services for any unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised purpose.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your account details secure.
2. Products
Fore & After sells golf-inspired clothing, headwear, accessories and lifestyle products.
Many of our products are produced on demand after an order is placed and may be manufactured, printed, embroidered or fulfilled by third-party production partners.
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, specifications and sizing information are accurate.
However, colours may appear differently depending on your device or display settings, and minor manufacturing or printing variations may occur.
These variations do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or materially different from its description.
We may change, discontinue or limit products, colours, sizes or designs at any time.
3. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
Your order becomes binding once we accept it.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- payment cannot be authorised;
- an item is unavailable;
- an obvious pricing or product error has occurred;
- we suspect fraud or misuse;
- delivery is unavailable to your address;
- or the order otherwise breaches these Terms.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or order.
Because many Fore & After products are produced on demand, an order may enter production shortly after purchase.
If you need to request a change or cancellation, contact hello@foreandafter.com as soon as possible. We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed once production has started.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website or at checkout.
The total amount payable, including applicable delivery charges and taxes, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
You must provide accurate and authorised payment information.
Payments may be processed by Shopify or another authorised payment provider.
We may change our prices at any time, but this will not normally affect orders already accepted.
5. Promotions and discount codes
From time to time, we may offer promotions, discount codes, bundles or special offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotions may be changed or withdrawn at any time;
- discount codes have no cash value;
- codes cannot normally be applied retrospectively;
- and multiple offers may not be combined.
Specific promotions may have additional terms.
6. Shipping and delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.
Products may be produced or dispatched from different fulfilment locations, meaning items from one order may occasionally arrive separately.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as courier disruption, customs processing, severe weather or transport disruption.
For UK distance sales, goods should generally be delivered within 30 days unless a different delivery period has been agreed. GOV.UK
For consumer orders, risk in the goods generally remains with us until the goods are delivered to you or to someone you have identified to receive them.
7. Delivery addresses
You are responsible for checking that your delivery address is correct before placing your order.
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address you supplied is incorrect or incomplete, it may be returned to our fulfilment partner.
Where this happens, you may be responsible for reasonable additional delivery charges required to resend the order.
Contact us immediately if you notice an address error after ordering.
8. Returns, cancellations and refunds
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Nothing in that policy or these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
UK consumers purchasing qualifying goods online generally have the right to cancel within 14 days after receiving them, subject to applicable legal exceptions. GOV.UK
Fore & After currently offers a 30-day return policy, subject to the conditions set out in our Refund Policy.
Certain products may be excluded from cancellation rights where permitted by law, including goods made specifically to a customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised products.
A product is not automatically treated as personalised merely because it is manufactured after an order is placed.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Please inspect your order when you receive it.
If an item is faulty, damaged, defective, misprinted or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at:

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
10. Product sizing
Sizing may vary between different garments and manufacturers.
You should check the size guide shown on the relevant product page before purchasing.
Where we are aware that a product runs larger or smaller than normal, we will aim to make this clear within the product description.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all Fore & After branding, logos, illustrations, artwork, product graphics, text, photographs, graphics, website content and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Fore & After.
You may access our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- reproduce our designs;
- copy our branding;
- manufacture products using our artwork;
- commercially reproduce our photographs;
- distribute or republish substantial parts of our website;
- or use Fore & After intellectual property for commercial purposes.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
12. Third-party services
We use third parties to help operate Fore & After, including providers involved in:
- ecommerce;
- payment processing;
- manufacturing;
- printing and embroidery;
- fulfilment;
- delivery;
- analytics;
- and communications.
Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content of unrelated third-party websites that you choose to visit through external links.
13. Shopify
Fore & After is powered by Shopify.
Purchases made through our store are transactions between you and Fore & After.
Shopify provides the ecommerce technology used to operate the store but is not the seller of Fore & After products.
14. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information required to process your order may be shared with service providers such as Shopify, payment processors, fulfilment partners and delivery companies.

15. Reviews and customer content
If you submit a review, testimonial, photograph or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide it.
You must not submit anything that:
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- is unlawful;
- is abusive or threatening;
- contains malicious software;
- violates another person’s privacy;
- or is knowingly false or misleading.
If you provide content for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and display that content in connection with operating and promoting Fore & After, subject to applicable law.
16. Errors and inaccuracies
Our website may occasionally contain errors relating to product information, pricing, availability, delivery information or other content.
We may correct errors when identified.
If an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you where appropriate and may offer you the choice to proceed on corrected terms or cancel the affected order.
17. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Services to:
- break the law;
- commit or attempt fraud;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- harass or threaten others;
- distribute malware;
- interfere with website security;
- gain unauthorised access to systems;
- collect personal information unlawfully;
- impersonate another person;
- or interfere with the ordinary operation of the website.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
18. Website availability
We aim to keep the Fore & After website accessible and functioning properly.
We cannot guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, Shopify outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
19. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
Our products are intended primarily for personal and household use unless otherwise stated.
20. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These may include severe weather, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, transport disruption, industrial action, customs delays, courier disruption, manufacturing disruption or significant internet or infrastructure failures.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect on customers where possible.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
22. Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
23. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and other applicable store policies, form the agreement between you and Fore & After concerning your use of our Services and purchases from us.
24. Governing law
As Fore & After is operated from Scotland, these Terms are governed by Scots law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
The Scottish courts will have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our business, products, website, legal requirements or third-party services.
The current version will always be published on this page together with the date it was last updated.
Any changes will not remove statutory rights you already have regarding an existing purchase.
